About Tom Bass Baseball Camp
A typical day at Tom Bass Baseball Camp begins with a short group instructional period, then each group will work on all aspects of the game including hitting, pitching, base running, infield, and outfield defense. There is a homerun derby on Wednesday and a double-header day on Thursday. That’s when teams play throughout the day and finish up with a “last man standing” fielding competition. We’ll end the session with a fun competition and prizes are awarded.
Dismissal is at 11:30.
*** Don’t miss the awards ceremony on Thursday @end of camp!
What to Bring
Each camper will need to bring his own hat, glove, and proper shoes (bats are suggested). Long pants are preferable to prevent skinned-up legs. Be sure to write your name and phone number on all items.
Camp Staff
Experienced high school coaches and college players assist Coach Bass with daily camp activities. The ratio of instructors to campers is 1 to 10.
Inclement Weather
In the event of bad weather call (404)966-1189 after 7:45 am for a recorded message. If one day is canceled due to the weather, there will be NO make-up day. However, if two days are missed, there will be a special session on Saturday or Sunday. With more than two days, a pro-rated amount will be refunded, less a $50.00 registration fee. If afternoon storms develop during the day and we are not able to continue after a wait, we will call for pick-up. During this time, players will be housed in the clubhouse for shelter.
